The Cookhouse is a very successful restaurant in New Milford, CT. It specializes in ribs and country cooking.

As the marketing agency for the ROR Restaurant Group, our approach on the Cookhouse was to reinforce what was working and to attract more of the same kind of customers. And to bring current customers in more often.

Our integrated campaign for the Cookhouse is built around the restaurant's strengths — great food, country atmosphere, country music, and casual fun.

The campaign includes print, radio, social media, website, YouTube videos, direct response emails, consumer web promotions, pr, POS, special drink and food offers, and an ebook cooking magazine currently in development.

The best example of our work on a promotional event is the Connecticut Country Star. This was a 8 week talent contest to pick the best country performers in the state. It tied in with the largest country music talent search (The Texaco Country Showdown), the top country radio stations in the state (KICKS 105.5 and 103.6, top liquor brands like Absolute and Kaluha, and local personalities from ranging from theatre to politics to country music.

We made what was a national contest very local. We created a Cookhouse Identity for the contest, an original logo, casting of a Cookhouse Country Hostess, and producing music videos for web and YouTube.
