Premise of the ebook "Most Wonderful Time For A Beer" is a sci-fi fantasy novel that tells the story of how the PartyMob comes to NYC to hijack Christmas. Hell's Kitchen bar-vivant, Patton Lee Beaugus, tells the story of next Christmas Eve and his encounter with the Christmas PartyMob. The story is set in the infamous Rudy's Bar — a nexus of improbability from which people can be transported into alternate realities. In this over-the-top satire, mad-scientist trainee Molly Walsh, wages a War On Christmas on behalf of her Druid ancestors. After the brilliant young physicist steals the secret of multiple universe travel, she aligns herself with a group of mobsters who set out to destroy the legends of Christmas in all time and space. The PartyMob intends to pop Santa and kneecap Rudolph. Their nefarious goals are to take over Christmas so they can turn all the sucky Christmas Carols into drinking songs, and to bring back the Roman festival of Saturnalia. Only a Hell's Kitchen barfly can stop her and her mob on what could be the very last Christmas Eve. "The Most Wonderful Time For A Beer" is a farcical comedy destined to become a holiday classic in some other string-dimension where cartoons can interact with real people. Where Clydesdales can escape the Budweiser Beer Wagon to make a cross-species change over to become the first flying Clydesdeer. And where images, animations and music are part of a new paradigm of the reading experience. |
